Summit Youth

We all have questions that we'd like answered, especially as we grow in faith.

Youth Alpha is a wonderful opportunity to start from the ground up and explore some fundamental aspects of Christianity. It is a nine-week course where you can feel comfortable about talking about Jesus and discuss questions like: "Who is Christ? Why did He die for us? Why and how should I read the Bible?" It is a fun, interesting and clear way to learn more and answer some crucial questions.

During our SUMMIT youth group each Sunday night at 6pm, we will dip into these topics by watching a video presentation, followed by small group discussion. It is a warm and welcoming environment to learn some key aspects of your faith with similar-minded youths... the pizza dinner is just a bonus!

So if you are in Years 10-12, come along and explore these questions with us!

Additionally, the Summit Youth group will be participating in the Rise Festival at Emmaus College on March 21st. Youth groups, schools and communities from around Melbourne will come together for this exciting event featuring live music, high-impact talks, prayer experiences, creative spaces, an expo, sport, entertainment, and great food. This is an excellent opportunity for young people to discover and deepen their relationships with Christ and to celebrate their faith. Guest speakers and entertainers include Archbishop Peter, Fr Rob Galea, Justine Cumbo and J.Sano. Tickets are only $20. Please contact, Joe Melhem, the youth minister if you are interested in attending with our group. Contact: mountwaverley.youth@cam.org.au
