Our Faith in ChristJesus, is one that encourages us not only to live in communion with our God, but also in communion with one another, supporting and assisting each other as we continue to grow and deepen our love of God and neighbour. At Holy Family you will find a community of faithful followers of Christ, who are striving each and every day to live out their Catholic faith in their homes, workplaces and in their local community.
As members of the Catholic Faith, we profess our belief in our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave all mankind the Church, as the means to follow him in this life, and rejoice with him in the next.
Most of you will come to know me through my role as one of the Parish Secretaries here at Holy Family. I moved to Australia with my family over 20 years ago and have come to greatly appreciate the beauty Melbourne has to offer. I am a graduate of Campion College where I received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts, majoring in literature. Apart from my work within the parish community, I am a mom to a precocious little boy and pursue my creative passions through my small business of floristry and art. I look forward to meeting more of the parish’s members and am keen to see how Holy Family will continue to grow and develop.
I am the youth minister at Holy Family Parish. I look forward to meeting more of the young people of the Parish over the next little while and invite them to get involved in the Parish Youth Groups. I will also be working with the grade six students at Holy Family School as they prepare to make the transition into High School. I am currently in my second year of an Education Degree at Australian Catholic University. On my off days I love playing music, doing sports and hanging out with friends and family. I love Jesus Christ and His Church, and I am passionate about young people and leading them to encounter the Love of God.
I am excited to be a new member of the Parish leadership team this year. As a teacher and the Religious Education Leader of Holy Family primary school I look forward to be working to build connections between the school and the parish. I have just completed my Masters Degree in Religious Education at the Australian Catholic University.
