PENTECOST / MULTICULTURAL DAY 2023

By Natalie Sillato

On Sunday, 28th May 2023 on the Feast of Pentecost, the Parish once more celebrated Multicultural Day after many years of its absence. The Community came together in all its colours and tastes from the Liturgy of the Mass to the Food Hall of the World. Prayers were read in various languages and school children, hymns sung in Korean by our wonderful Korean Community. The Food Hall was plentiful with so much delicious food prepared and donated for all to feast on. Many thanks goes to all those who prepared food including families from our Primary School, the volunteers for setting up and special thanks and mention goes to Maureen Mack for being the leading hand as such in getting this up and going. We look forward to growing this in 2024 to an even a bigger occasion.
