Pentecost at Home for Families

By Holy Family Parish

Although there are now limited opportunities to attend Mass and Adoration many of us will still be celebrating Pentecost from home. Holy Family Parish has compiled a number of activities and resources to help families with children pray and learn about this important day. In fact, every Sunday we are providing a kind of stay-at-home ‘Sunday School’ with reflections, videos, and crafts to help children engage with the Gospel reading. If your family is looking for a way to help your children grow in faith please come back each week and see what we have on offer.

This week you will find:

  • A short video about Pentecost
  • Discussion questions to help unpack the Gospel reading with your children
  • Instructions for an at-home Pentecost Celebration from the United States Association of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
  • A recipe for a Pentecost cake
  • Pentecost colouring pages and activity sheets

You can find this week’s activities here and you can scroll down to see previous Sunday offerings.
